Microtel was established in 1994 as the systems integration division of Kenton Research Limited, and as a reseller of emerging IP/ Ethernet technologies.

With a number of successful partnerships, and continuous growth in the UK, Microtel's customer base has expanded to include global telecom's providers, who require a high service level and support through the EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

Microtel has expanded its operations to encompass additional countries and is constantly reviewing other geographical locations, as the world becomes globally connected.
