The DTMF Signalling Converter type 4672 is a single plug-in extended Eurocard module
designed to convert bothway Gen-Gen Signalling to Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) or E&M on 2 wire
circuits and provide through transmission during the non-signalling mode.
Two versions are available, the 4672 for shelf mounting and the 4850 with a built in
ring current generator for four circuits in a 1U case.
- Converts from Gen-Gen (17-25Hz) bothway automatic manual signalling to DTMF or DC5A (E&M).Front panel
selection of incoming and outgoing DTMF tone frequencies permits selective calling on omnibus circuits. Output
signalling link selectable for slave or timed duration.Port impedances 600ohm with insertion loss link
selectable in both directions, through audio transmission disabled during signalling.Front panel LED indicator
shows power and signalling status.
- Single extended Eurocard 7E format for 19" shelf or stand alone case.
