The ISDN VoiceServer (IVS) intelligently routes outgoing voice calls from an ISDN2 PABX to use VOIP compressed and packetised voice when an IP path exists to another IVS at the called end. Outgoing calls to other destinations are passed transparently through the unit and carried normally using the public ISDN network. In the event of a LAN or IP backbone failure the IVS can automatically dial an ISDN backup path to transport multiple VOIP calls. Incoming calls from the public ISDN network are passed transparently to the PABX. Features & Benefits
