DSLAM BitStorm 4800 IP

DSLAM Bitstorm 4800

The 4800 Bitstorm mini-DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) provides a scalable central office solution for broadband delivery. The 4800 is ideal to deliver high speed internet access, network based VPNs, audio and video streaming MPEG-2 services in a multi tenanted dwelling such as University campus', Local Authorities, Hospitals and Housing associations. The DSL services are delivered over existing copper infrastructure on a single pair delivering up to 8Mbps downstream and 1Mbs upstream. No building re-wiring is required and existing telephone pairs carry both Voice & Data services which and segregated via a Standard ADSL POTS Splitter. For ISPs looking to defend against competition and for building owners seeking additional sources of revenue, the BitStorm 4800 offers an unprecedented revenue-generating opportunity in the MDU, Campus and hospitality services markets.
